Functional Release

We didn’t stop at functionality and reliability, but introduced the concept of functional release: an innovative solution that allows  the side release to absorb peak force created by skiing fast on hard snow, large vibrations that could cause the binding to release.  It is thanks to this development that we are able to recommend skiing with the binding pre-fitted in a downhill position making it therefore possible for the front and side releases to work in case of a fall. The side and front releases have a fixed calibration and cannot be adjusted, corresponding with an advanced skier with average male/female physical characteristics.
