Adamello Ski Raid, podium for Anthamatten and Boscacci

 

The sixth edition of the Adamello Ski Raid is in the name of Matteo Eydallin-Damiano Lenzi and of the young Axelle Mollaret and Jennifer Fiechter.

The big Skimountaineering marathon, with 43 km and 4000 meters of altitude high, which goes trough the Lombard and Trentino peaks, as forecast has been lead by the Italians Eydallin-Lenzi, who won in 4h 35’29”. In second position, after 10’, the Swiss Martin Anthamatten-Werner Marti, followed by the other italian couple composed by Michele Boscacci-Nadir Maguet, in 4h 48’38”.

In the top five even Filippo Beccari – Lars Skjervheim, and Pietro Lanfranchi – William Boffelli, those one ahed at the Presena Pass, which today has been invaded by well 2000 supportes, ready to spur the 350 couple in race coming from 18 nations.

Surprise indeed in the female competition, with Axelle Mollaret and Jennifer Fiechter who has been able to explode the prognostic arriving at the finish line in Ponte di Legno with the time of 4h45’50”, ahead the favorite one Laetitia Roux – Claudia Galicia Cotrina. Third place for Katia Tomatis and Alba De Silvestro.  

The current race, included in Coppa Dolomiti circuit, was even valid for the La Grande Course circuit, which is carrying on the 22 of April with the Mezzalama Trophy, preceded for the first time with the “Mini” Mezzalama, reserved for the young categories.
