Skimountaineering World Cup: 4 gold medal for Ski Trab

At less than seven days from the first Skimountaineering Wordl Cup stage, our Ski trab athletes took part at the second appointment with the intercontinental circuit.

Today, on the French snow of Cambre d’Az, Laetitia Roux, Giulia Murada, Davide Magnini and Federico Nicolini has been able to repeat the success gained last week in Font Blanca, conquering the gold medal in their respectively category: or senior female, junior female and male and espoir male.

Together with this success, we have to add even the great 4^ and 5^ place of Robert Antonioli and Michele Boscacci. 7^ absolute Federico Nicolini, at 3’56” from the winner Kilian Jornet Burgada, who won in 1h32”24”. 2^ place for Damiano Lenzi, even today mocked by a 1’ penalty which has set him back the gold medal. Bronze for Matteo Eydallin.

As to the female race, behind Laetitia Roux, (1h 37’02”) la compatriot Axelle Mollaret and the Swiss Mathis Maude. Good 7^ place for Katia Tomatis. Among the espoir umpteenth victory for Alba De Silvestro, 6^ absolute behind Adele Milloz and Lena Bonnel.

In the juniores female race Mara Martini and Julia Casanovas Cuairan completed the podium, meanwhile in the male one 2^ and 3^ place for Julien Ançai and Thibault Anselmet.

Tomorrow it’s time for sprint race: the big awaited is doubtless the king of the sprint, Robert Antonioli.
