My name is Léo Besson, I'm 19 and I live in the Swiss Alps in a small village next to the station of Verbier. I started to ski when I was 10 and I entered the Swiss Team ski mountaineering in 2016. I have used Ski Trab since the very beginning of my sporty career.
My passions are skiing, mountaineering and rock climbing, as well as road cycling.
My projects for the future are continuing to progress and being able to fight for the first positions in the World Cup and the Grande Course circuit
My training in summer is mainly road cycling, with some running, ski roll and walking with poles.
My Ski Trab apparels for the races as well as for the training are the World Cup 70 with the Titan bindings, the Gara helmet and the World Cup backpack. In the sprint and vertical races I use the Gara sprint skis which are lighter and much more speed uphill!
My main results are World champion in cadet in the vertical race (2017), European champion in cadet in sprint and individual race (2018) and third in the general classification of the 2020 World cup. I also won the Tour du Rutor (2018) and the Pierra Menta (2017) as a cadet.
